What they ask for
Required
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 4+ years in engineering leadership managing QA, DevOps, platform engineering, or related functions
- Deep quality engineering background with hands-on automation framework development
- Proven track record transitioning teams from manual to automation-first QA
- Experience building quality automation across web, APIs, and native mobile applications
- Hands-on experience with modern automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or Maestro
- Strong technical background in Microsoft .NET and Azure environments
- Experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Working knowledge of Helm and containerized application delivery
- Strong experience with CI/CD and release automation, preferably Azure DevOps
- Understanding of Agile software development practices
- Strong background in platform reliability, production incident response, and root-cause analysis
- Technical depth to engage in solution design, architecture discussions, and troubleshooting
- Experience establishing and upholding quality standards across teams
- Strong cross-functional credibility with engineering, product, and senior stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, core banking, or digital banking platforms
- Familiarity with credit union or community bank environments
- Familiarity with Angular, Swift, and Kotlin development
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
- Experience with broader Azure services for SaaS platforms
- Experience with SOC 2 Type II or PCI DSS compliance contexts
- Experience managing QA teams through manual-to-engineering transitions
- Experience building or scaling SRE or Platform Engineering functions
