Required
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering
- 15+ years designing, building, and commissioning tooling and fixtures for manufacturing or assembly
- CAD and FEA-based analysis software experience
- Full-cycle project completion experience
- Tooling project management and strategic buildout experience
Nice to have
- Design for manufacturability and design for assembly expertise from prototype to production
- Knowledge of manufacturing materials, GD&T, and tolerance/stack-up analysis
- Familiarity with common manufacturing processes and machines including mills, lathes, welding, sheet-metal work, and assembly
- Custom machine design experience with motors, actuators, linear rails, pneumatics, and bearings
