What they ask for
Required
- 5+ years data center operations with responsibility for critical facility uptime
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution, backup power, and mechanical cooling systems in high-density data centers
- Experience in 24/7 shift-based operations environment with shift scheduling and staffing
- Incident management and root cause analysis experience for critical facility events
- Experience with DCIM, BMS/EPMS, or similar monitoring platforms
- Proven people leadership including hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Strong communication translating technical issues for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work on-site in Dallas, Texas and support 24/7 operations including off-hours escalations
Nice to have
- Hyperscale, colocation, or AI/GPU-cluster data center operations experience
- Industry certifications such as CDCP, CDCS, CDCE, or DCPRO
- Experience building or scaling a remote/centralized operations function from the ground up
- Familiarity with liquid cooling infrastructure in AI-optimized data centers
- Multi-site, geographically distributed critical infrastructure experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field
