Required
- 11+ years of experience (or 9+ years with Master's or 7+ years with Ph.D.)
- 7+ years of hands-on full physical design implementation flows
- Strong expertise in top-level floorplanning for GPU or SoC designs
- Power-grid design and implementation using PNR tools
- Power-grid robustness analysis experience
- Timing analysis and convergence methodologies
- Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools (Synopsys or Cadence)
- Strong PNR and physical-design tool proficiency
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, Tcl, Shell, or Perl
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven approach
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Nice to have
- Package and power-only layer experience
- Advanced-node designs (≤5nm) and high-performance GPU or SoC program experience
- DTCO methodologies and implementation scalability experience
- Low-power partitioning and congestion awareness
- Automation and flow-level methodology beyond scripting
- Floorplanning methodologies and physical-design tradeoff experience
