This role is for an experienced engineer who can architect and implement security solutions at scale across three critical threat surfaces while supporting incident response and on-call operations.

What they ask for

Required

  • 10+ years in detection, response, or security engineering
  • 3+ years commanding security incidents involving engineering
  • Deep AWS cloud security knowledge including IAM, identity federation, KMS, EKS, and container attack patterns
  • Working knowledge of blockchain and crypto-native threats including wallet and custody attack patterns
  • Hands-on experience with AI tooling and understanding of organizational AI risks
  • SIEM, Case Management, and SOAR platform knowledge
  • macOS operating system and file system knowledge
  • Python, Golang, or similar programming experience
  • Detections As Code experience
  • Ability to work across teams during high-stress situations including after-hours work
  • On-call availability every third week plus occasional weekends

Nice to have

  • GCP or OCI exposure
  • Direct experience defending blockchain, custody, or DeFi infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of smart contract abuse patterns and protocol-level risks
