What this role is

This is a senior full-stack engineering role building Boltline, a commercial software platform that helps advanced hardware teams manage manufacturing workflows. You'll work across React, GraphQL, and backend systems on mission-driven space industry software, mentoring junior engineers and owning features from design through deployment.

What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field/experience
  • 5+ years professional software development experience
  • Deep expertise in full stack TypeScript
  • Experience with React, GraphQL, TypeScript and PostgreSQL
  • Backend services design and maintenance with Node.js, Next.js, or similar
  • Strong software testing principles and modern testing frameworks
  • Feature ownership from concept through deployment
  • Prior on-call and incident response participation
  • Cross-functional collaboration and communication
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environment
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status for ITAR compliance

Nice to have

  • Next.js, Apollo, or Hasura experience
  • Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and AWS infrastructure familiarity
  • Event-driven architecture experience with Temporal or Kafka
  • Hands-on CI/CD pipeline improvement experience
  • Manufacturing, aerospace, or complex physical systems background
  • Interest in aerospace or manufacturing workflows
