What they ask for
Required
- 12+ years building low-latency, high-throughput systems
- Strong C++ proficiency
- Hands-on experience designing or owning real-time market data distribution platforms at a global financial institution
- Deep experience with UDP multicast in production, including loss and recovery
- Understanding of low-latency techniques: NUMA, core pinning, CPU isolation, kernel and network tuning, memory management, cache locality
- Production experience with Aeron including transport/driver tuning and back-pressure management
- Ownership of wire-to-consumer latency observability with histograms and tail analysis
- Understanding of exchange microstructure and regional market structure differences
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment
- Strong communication skills explaining complex systems to engineers, quants, and traders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
