Tug of War

Tug of war is a team sport and contest of strength in which two teams pull on opposite ends of a rope, trying to drag the other team across a central line. It was once an Olympic event (1900-1920) and remains popular in school field days, company outings, and international amateur competitions organized by federations like the Tug of War International Federation. It emphasizes teamwork, coordinated technique, and raw physical strength.
