Team Tennis

Team tennis is a format of tennis competition in which players compete as part of a team rather than purely as individuals, with results from multiple matches (singles and doubles) combined to determine an overall team winner. World TeamTennis, founded in the U.S. in 1974, is a well-known professional league that popularized this format with modified scoring rules for faster-paced play. The format is also used in school, club, and league tennis to foster teamwork alongside individual competition.
