Street Skateboarding

A style of skateboarding that uses urban features such as stairs, handrails, curbs, ledges, and gaps as obstacles for tricks, as opposed to skating in purpose-built vertical ramps or bowls. It emphasizes technical trick execution—ollies, grinds, and flip tricks—performed on found city terrain. This discipline became an Olympic event in 2020 and is central to skateboarding's mainstream competitive scene.
