Stableford

Stableford is a golf scoring format that awards points based on a player's score at each hole relative to a fixed target (usually par), rather than counting total strokes as in standard stroke play. Points increase for better performance (e.g., more points for a birdie than a par) and a very poor hole simply yields zero points, which appeals to recreational golfers because it limits the damage of one disastrous hole.
