Soccer

Soccer, known internationally as football, is a team sport played between two sides of eleven players who try to score by getting a ball into the opposing goal, using any part of the body except the hands and arms (other than the goalkeeper). It is the world's most popular sport, governed globally by FIFA, with major competitions including the World Cup and various domestic and continental leagues. Millions play it recreationally and competitively for its accessibility, minimal equipment needs, and team-based athleticism.
