Pato

Pato is the national sport of Argentina, a horseback game that combines elements of polo and basketball, played with a ball fitted with six leather handles that riders grab and pass while trying to throw it through a vertical hoop-shaped goal. It originated from a rougher colonial-era game (originally played with a live duck) and was later codified with modern safety rules. It remains a niche but culturally significant equestrian sport.
