Palla

Palla is a traditional Italian ball sport, historically popular in Tuscany and other regions, in which players strike a large ball using an armored glove or wooden bracer rather than a racket. Teams hit the ball back and forth across a marked playing area, aiming to make shots opponents cannot return, similar in spirit to pallone. It survives today mainly through local festivals and historical reenactments celebrating regional Italian folk sports.
