Palin

Palin is a traditional Finnish bat-and-ball sport, an ancestor of pesäpallo (Finnish baseball), in which a batter strikes a ball thrown by a pitcher and then runs to score points while fielders try to catch the ball or put runners out. It was historically played informally in villages and schools across Finland before being formalized into the more structured national sport of pesäpallo in the 20th century. It appeals to players for its blend of batting skill, running speed, and team strategy.
