Netball

Netball is a fast-paced team sport, popular especially in Commonwealth countries like Australia, New Zealand, and England, played by two teams of seven players who pass a ball down the court and score by shooting it through a hoop without a backboard. It evolved from early versions of basketball and is characterized by positional restrictions limiting where each player can move on the court and a rule against running with the ball. It draws players who enjoy quick passing, teamwork, and agility, and is predominantly played by women, though mixed and men's leagues exist.
