Muay Lao

Muay Lao is the traditional kickboxing style of Laos, closely related to Muay Thai, Muay Boran, and other Southeast Asian striking arts sharing a common regional lineage. Fighters use punches, kicks, elbows, and knee strikes, often accompanied by traditional music during matches as in related Southeast Asian boxing styles. It serves as both Laos's national combat sport and a marker of cultural identity distinct from its neighboring countries' styles.
