Megaminx

The Megaminx is a dodecahedron-shaped twisty puzzle related to the Rubik's Cube, with 12 pentagonal faces that rotate to scramble and solve colored patterns. Invented in the late 1970s/1980s, it is more complex than the standard cube due to its extra faces and pieces, and it is one of the official events in speedcubing competitions sanctioned by the World Cube Association. Enthusiasts enjoy it for the added challenge of its higher piece count and pentagonal symmetry.
