Mancala
Mancala is a family of ancient two-player strategy board games, played on a board with rows of pits and using seeds, beads, or stones as counters, where players sow pieces around the board to capture their opponent's counters. Variants such as Kalah, Oware, and Bao are played across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, and it is believed to be one of the oldest known games, with archaeological evidence dating back thousands of years. It appeals to players for its simple rules but deep strategic depth.
