Devil Among the Tailors

Devil among the tailors is a traditional English tabletop game, a variant of table skittles, in which a small weighted ball on a chain attached to a central pole is swung by hand to knock down nine miniature wooden skittles (pins) arranged on a board. It has historically been played in pubs and social clubs as a game of skill and coordination. Its unusual name and old-fashioned mechanism give it a niche, nostalgic appeal among enthusiasts of traditional pub games.
