Letterboxing

Letterboxing is an outdoor hobby that combines hiking with puzzle-solving, in which participants follow clues to find hidden weatherproof boxes containing a logbook and a unique rubber stamp. Finders stamp their personal logbook with the box's stamp and leave an impression of their own stamp in the box's logbook, a pastime that originated on Dartmoor in England in the 19th century.
