Kolf

Kolf (also spelled colf) is a historical Dutch stick-and-ball game, played from the medieval period into the 19th century, in which players struck a ball with a club toward a target such as a door or post in as few strokes as possible, often on ice in winter or in enclosed courts. It is considered one of the games ancestral to modern golf.
