Ki-O-Rahi
Ki-o-rahi is a traditional Māori team sport played on a circular field, in which players try to touch a central 'tupu' (target) with a ball called a ki while avoiding taggers, or score by touching designated boundary markers. Rooted in New Zealand indigenous culture and legend, it is now taught in schools and played competitively as a way of preserving Māori heritage through sport.
