Jai Alai

Jai alai is a fast-paced sport originating from Basque pelota, played on a long three-walled court (fronton) in which players use a curved wicker basket called a cesta strapped to the hand to catch and hurl a hard ball against the front wall. It is renowned as one of the fastest ball sports in the world due to the extreme speeds the ball can reach, and it has historically attracted spectators and bettors in Spain, Latin America, and the United States.
