Intercrosse

Intercrosse is a non-contact, mixed-gender variant of lacrosse played indoors with a lightweight plastic stick and a softer ball, designed to be safer and more accessible than traditional lacrosse. It was developed in Quebec, Canada in the 1970s as an easy-to-learn recreational and educational sport suitable for schools and community leagues. Because it removes bodychecking and heavy equipment, it emphasizes passing skill, agility, and teamwork over physical contact.
