Hurling

An ancient Irish stick-and-ball team sport, considered one of the fastest field games in the world, in which players use a wooden stick called a hurley (camán) to hit a small ball (sliotar) into or over the opposing goal. Organized by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it is deeply tied to Irish cultural identity and combines elements of speed, aerial skill, and physical contact.
