Hoverboarding

Riding a self-balancing electric scooter (commonly called a "hoverboard") consisting of two motorized wheels on either side of a small platform, steered by shifting body weight. Popularized in the mid-2010s, it appeals to riders for its low learning curve, portability, and use as both a novelty pastime and short-distance commuting device.
