Headis

Headis is a hybrid sport invented in Germany in 2006 that combines elements of table tennis and soccer heading: players use only their heads to strike a small, bouncy soccer-style ball back and forth across a table tennis table. It follows scoring and serving rules adapted from table tennis, and has developed a small international competitive circuit and community since its creation. It appeals to soccer and ping-pong fans looking for a novel, physically demanding twist on both sports.
