Gungdo

Gungdo is the traditional Korean martial art and sport of archery, practiced with a distinctive short recurve bow historically used by Korean cavalry and hunters. Today it survives both as a competitive Olympic sport, where South Korea is a dominant power, and as a traditional practice emphasizing discipline, posture, and etiquette.
