Glassblowing

Glassblowing is a technique for shaping molten glass by inflating it with a blowpipe, allowing an artisan to form vessels, sculptures, and decorative objects while the glass is still hot and malleable. Practiced by glassmakers and studio artists since ancient Roman times, it requires skill in timing, breath control, and heat management at a furnace. Modern hobbyists and professionals alike are drawn to it for the combination of physical craft and creative, sculptural expression.
