Galotxa

Galotxa is a traditional variant of pilota valenciana, a Valencian (Spanish) handball-style sport in which players strike a ball with their hands. It is typically played outdoors in village squares or streets rather than in an enclosed court, with teams volleying the ball back and forth. It survives today mainly as a folk sport kept alive in certain towns of the Valencian Community.
