English Billiards

English billiards is a cue sport played on a standard billiards table with two cue balls and one red object ball, combining elements of scoring found in both carom billiards and pool via cannons, winning hazards, and losing hazards. It was historically the dominant cue sport in the United Kingdom before snooker rose in popularity during the 20th century. Players score points through a combination of pots and cannons, requiring both positional strategy and potting accuracy.
