Duck

Duck is a traditional outdoor throwing game, also known as 'duck on a rock,' in which players try to knock a small target stone (the 'duck') off a larger base rock by throwing their own stones at it from a set distance. A designated guard tries to tag players before they retrieve their stone after a failed or successful throw, giving it elements of both accuracy and tag-like evasion. It has historical roots as a children's playground and rural pastime in Britain and North America.
