Continuous Cricket

Continuous cricket is an informal variant of cricket, popular in schools and casual settings, in which batting continues without stopping for wickets falling -- instead of being out, a batter who is dismissed simply loses accumulated runs or must retire, keeping the game moving quickly. It is designed to maximize participation and playing time for large groups, especially children, rather than following strict traditional rules. The format is valued for being fast-paced, inclusive, and less about elimination than standard cricket.
