Catch

Catch is an informal recreational game in which two or more people throw and catch a ball back and forth, most commonly a baseball, softball, or football. It requires minimal equipment—just a ball and gloves in the case of baseball—making it an easy, casual pastime as well as a common warm-up and skill-building exercise for organized sports. It is often associated with bonding activities, such as a parent and child playing catch in a backyard.
