Canicross

Canicross is a sport in which a runner is tethered by a waist belt to a harnessed dog that pulls or runs alongside them, originally developed as off-season training for sled dog racers. It combines elements of cross-country running and dog sledding, typically practiced on trails or open terrain with breeds suited to pulling, such as huskies and pointers. Enthusiasts value it as a way to bond with their dog while getting a vigorous workout, and organized races and championships exist in Europe and North America.
