How connecting works
From someone's profile, hit Follow — they get an invitation to accept or ignore. Invitations wait in the menu under Personal, with a count so you don't miss them.
What connections unlock
- Their career updates in your feed (and yours in theirs).
- Direct messaging between you.
- Connections here — on organization pages, job listings, and search results, you'll see which of your connections work somewhere. Knowing someone inside is half of job searching; we surface it everywhere it helps.
Recommendations and team confirmations
Connections can write recommendations and confirm you worked together. Confirmed relationships are the verified backbone of the network — and they earn both sides contribution points.
