Swahili Language

Languages

Swahili (Kiswahili) is a Bantu language and lingua franca spoken by tens of millions of people across East Africa, including Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is an official language in several of those countries and the working language of the African Union, blending Bantu grammar with substantial Arabic loanwords from centuries of coastal trade. People learn it for regional business, travel, diplomacy, and cultural connection.
