SQL Injection

Cybersecurity

SQL Injection is a common web application security vulnerability in which an attacker inserts malicious SQL code into an input field or query parameter to manipulate a database's behavior. Successful attacks can let attackers bypass authentication, extract sensitive data, or modify or delete records. Understanding and preventing SQL injection (through parameterized queries and input validation) is a core skill for security-conscious backend developers and application security professionals.
