Security Exploit

Cybersecurity

A security exploit is a piece of code, technique, or sequence of commands that takes advantage of a vulnerability in software or hardware to cause unintended behavior, such as gaining unauthorized access or escalating privileges. Penetration testers and security researchers develop and study exploits to understand attacker capabilities and help vendors patch flaws before malicious actors can use them.
