SAP Simple Finance (later renamed SAP S/4HANA Finance) was an early SAP HANA-based finance application that simplified financial accounting and controlling by unifying general ledger, asset accounting, and management accounting data into a single, real-time data model. It was used by finance teams and FICO consultants to accelerate financial close and reporting ahead of broader S/4HANA adoption.
