SaltStack
Cloud Computing and DevOps
SaltStack (often called Salt) is an open-source configuration management and remote execution tool used by systems administrators and DevOps engineers to automate the configuration, deployment, and management of servers at scale. It uses a master-minion architecture and YAML-based "states" to define desired system configurations, allowing rapid orchestration across thousands of machines. It is commonly compared to tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
