RxJava
Software Development and Engineering Practices
RxJava is a Java implementation of Reactive Extensions (Rx), a library for composing asynchronous and event-based programs using observable sequences. Android and backend Java developers use it to handle streams of data (like network responses or UI events) with operators for filtering, transforming, and combining events. It was widely popular for Android app development before being partly supplanted by Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
