Reservoir Engineering
Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Environmental)
Reservoir engineering is a branch of petroleum engineering concerned with estimating the recoverable volume of oil and gas in subsurface reservoirs and optimizing methods for extracting them. Reservoir engineers use geological data, fluid dynamics, and computer simulations to model reservoir behavior, forecast production, and plan drilling and recovery strategies. It is a core discipline for oil and gas companies working in exploration and production.
