Process Engineering Diagrams (BFD PFD P&ID)
Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Environmental)
Block Flow Diagrams (BFD), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) are standardized schematic drawings used by process and chemical engineers to represent a plant's equipment, flow paths, and instrumentation at increasing levels of detail. BFDs give a high-level overview, PFDs show major equipment and material flows, and P&IDs provide detailed piping, valves, and control instrumentation needed for construction and operation.
