Posing

Video, Photography and Film Production

Posing refers to the deliberate positioning of a subject's body, limbs, and expression to create a flattering, dynamic, or intentional look, used extensively in photography, modeling, bodybuilding competitions, and figure drawing. Photographers and models study posing to control angles, convey emotion, and hide or highlight features under specific lighting. It requires practice, body awareness, and often direction from a photographer or coach to look natural rather than stiff.
