Music Mixing
Music and Audio Production
Music mixing is the audio engineering process of blending individually recorded tracks into a cohesive stereo (or surround) mix by adjusting levels, panning, equalization, compression, and effects. Mixing engineers work in studios using digital audio workstations like Pro Tools or Logic Pro to shape the balance and sonic character of a song before it goes to mastering.
