MITRE ATT&CK is a publicly available knowledge base cataloging real-world cyber adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) observed across the attack lifecycle. Security analysts, threat hunters, and red teamers use it as a common taxonomy to map detections, plan penetration tests, and assess defensive coverage against known attack behaviors. It is maintained by the nonprofit MITRE Corporation and widely adopted across the cybersecurity industry.
