Microsoft InfoPath was a Microsoft Office application for designing and filling out electronic forms, letting users create structured, data-connected forms (often tied to SharePoint or XML data sources) without heavy coding. It was popular in the 2000s and early 2010s among business analysts and IT departments building corporate forms and workflows. Microsoft discontinued new development and support has been phased out, with organizations migrating to Power Apps as the successor.
