Mechanics
Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Environmental)
Mechanics is the branch of physics concerned with the motion of objects and the forces that cause that motion, encompassing subfields like statics, dynamics, and fluid mechanics. It underpins much of engineering and physical science education, providing the theoretical foundation for analyzing structures, machines, and physical systems. The term can also colloquially refer to the practical skill of repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment, such as automobiles, as practiced by auto mechanics.
